Dear Mr. Dobson:

On behalf of the board, staff and clients of Easter Seals Bay Area, thank you very much for your recent contribution of $500. Because of generous organizations like the Fraternal Order of Police, who want to make a real impact in their community, Easter Seals can continue to provide services that Improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families. With your support, Easter Seals is able to help people like Anne and Ross.

Anne - A victim of substance abuse, Anne was born prematurely and developmentally delayed. When she came to Easter Seals at 2-years old, she was just beginning to crawl. An Easter Seals therapist noticed her ankles were weak and irnmediately placed her in leg braces and began worlting on building her lower body stability. Six months later, she can stand up on her own and her therapists are confident she'll be taking her first steps very soon.

Ross - After his retirement, Ross developed a Sciatica condition that caused him constant pain - so much that he could not sleep. His doctor referred him to Easter Seals where he began an individualized aquatic therapy program that reduced his pain, increased his flexibility and allowed him to defeat the condition. Today, he is completely without back pain and says, "I can't tell you how grateful I am that a place like Easter Seals exists."

These are just two of the thousands of people whose lives have improved because of Easter Seals services and your support. Thank you again for your thoughtful and generous gift.

Sincerely,

Mike Pelfiru
